This pattern uses the Interlocking Filet Crochet Technique

This is the second set of placemat patterns in my Textured Designs Series.
It showcases the textures that can be achieved using simple vertical and horizontal lines in interlocking crochet.

Bricks Placemats is SUPER easy and PERFECT for both beginners and experienced interlockers. For the experienced interlocker, this is definitely one of those “sit and have a conversation” type patterns.

The stitches, for the most part, are repetitive across the row. The pattern effectively is a 2 row pattern repeat although I have written each row out for you.

My preferred yarn for these placemats was Luxor by Fibra Natura but any cotton yarn can be used

Col A - 3 balls (375m)
