This garment is worked from the top down with short row neck shaping. After the patterned yoke the garment is split into sleeves and body. The body is knit mainly in stockinette stitch and sleeves only need a few rows before being bound off.

This can be knit in a wooly yarn as a vest over a long sleeve top or in a plant fibre yarn as a summer top.
