A super cozy and quick project!

I recommend James C. Brett, Rustic Mega Chunky Yarn (62 Yards, 57 Meters per ball) or Lion Brand Wool-Ease – Thick and Quick (80meters, 87yards per ball) for this project. One ball is enough to create the hat. Two additional balls can be used to create the matching scarf. The pattern is available for free in my Ravelry shop. Alternately, any yarn that fits the gauge can be used.
