Pattern notes:
Child sizes of this sweater are in the separate pattern called Making Tracks and are included in the Crossings Collection along with a matching hat.
This sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Short rows are used to gently shape the back neckline. A textured pattern is worked on the front and back of the yoke and continued down the body of the sweater. The sleeves are knit in stockinette stitch and finished with ribbing.
Yarn - DK Weight:
1050 (1125, 1200, 1300) (1400, 1525, 1650) yards / 960 (1030, 1100, 1190) (1280, 1395, 1510) metres.

Needles:
US4 / 3.5 mm circular needle (40 cm long) and US6 / 4 mm circular needle (40 cm long).
US6 / 4 mm and US4 / 3.5 mm dpns or 80cm long circular needle for magic loop method for sleeves.
Notions:
8 stitch markers, waste yarn / holders, tapestry needle.
Sizing:
1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7).
To fit chest size:

Actual garment measurements:

Choose a size with 2 - 5 inches / 5 - 12.5 cm of positive ease at the bust. Make sure the size you are making also has enough ease at the hips as there is no waist shaping in this sweater.
Gauge:
22 stitches & 30 rounds / 4 inches in stockinette stitch. Adjust needle size if necessary, to get gauge. Use needles two sizes smaller than gauge needle for ribbing.
