Bridgette Wooly Vest
This is a vest that screams Bridgett Bardo to me. I can imagine her wearing this in the 1970’s paired with wooly boots and tight jeans and big hair. I might wear it with wooly boots (I do have some) I’d just skip the big hair.
This vest was designed to flatter curves and if you don’t have them, to create a contour that gives the illusion of curves. This is a very basic pattern that makes good use of increases and decreases. Because of the hook size, this project works up quickly. I made my vest in about 3 hours and most of my testers made 2 or 3 versions.
The pattern includes 6 pages of instruction, schematics, and a photo of the garment before it is seamed together, so that you can see exactly to assemble it.
