These fingerless mitts were designed for cool, crisp walks along the winding bridleway and feature an interesting cable pattern down the centre of seed stitch columns. An asymmetric thumb gusset adds extra detail and interest to this classic design, which is surprisingly simple to knit.

MATERIALS
Yarn:
Approx 40g 4ply/fingering weight yarn
Sample uses Eden Cottage Yarns Titus 4ply in the ‘Compost’ colourway.

Needles:
You can use either DPNs or circular needles to obtain gauge.
Recommended size US1.5/2.5mm, 32”/60cm.

Notions
Stitch markers, waste yarn for holding thumb stitches, yarn needle.
