This pattern is available from etsy.com for £4.20.

A vintage inspired girl’s matinee jacket using 4 ply yarn. To fit one size of 18 inch (45 cms) chest, or from 3 to 9 months.

The illustrated jacket has dolman sleeves, folded back cuffs and a smart pointed collar. Although it is worked in Ladder Stitch, the reverse side is used to reveal this lovely basketweave pattern. However, instructions are given to let you use either side of the pattern, if desired. Ladder Stitch has an 8-row pattern repeat and is very easy to follow. The collar, cuffs and edging are worked in moss stitch.

The dolman sleeves are part of the main body of the jacket, meaning that making up is quick and easy.

Worked on 3mm needles using approx. 100g of 4 ply yarn.

A pattern for the knitted display mannequin is also available from British High Sewciety on Etsy
