Bright Hanging Birds
These Bright Hanging Birds were originally designed as a mobile for my nephew’s crib, but I have since made them into bunting and as Christmas tree decorations! They’re amazingly versatile and you can create some fantastic colour combinations using the Scheepjes River/Stone washed colour pack.
Finished size:
The birds measure approximately 8cm x 5cm/3in x 2in
Materials:
They use tiny amounts of yarn - less than 10g per bird, a little bit of toy stuffing, 9mm safety eyes and 51cm of embroidery thread.
Also, buttons or beads and thread, ribbon or string for hanging.
PDFs are available in UK and US terms.
I hope you enjoy and please share the different ways you’ve used them!
