CONSTRUCTION:
The Bright Shining Socks are knitted from the toe up. They are started with Judy’s Magic cast on. The instep is worked in a simple lace pattern. The socks are with a gusset, a heel turn knitted German short-rows
and a cuff with double hem and linking seam.
Pattern completed for Magic Loop method.
This is the perfect pattern for holiday knitting, simple but charming!

Small (Medium, Large)
Foot circumference: 20 (21.5, 23) / 8 (8.5, 9) cm / inch.
Leg length (cm / inch) – ajustable.
Foot length, cm– adjustable.
Foot circumference to be worn with negative ease up to 0.5–1” / 1.5–2.5 cm
Yarn: Frida Fuchs Yarn (75 % wool, 20 % nylon, 5 % stellina), 420m / 460yd 100 g / 3.5 oz), colorway Vanilla Bean, 1 skein,
YarnByStu Shiny Stu (75 % wool, 20 % nylon, 5 % stellina), 420m / 460yd 100 g / 3.5 oz), 1 skein,
or other sock yarn with stellina: Schachenmayer Regia Soft Glitter, Rico Las Vegas, Lana Grossa Meilenweit Lite Night, Lana Grossa Meilenweit Eleganza and other.
Needles: US 1.5 / 2.5 mm at least 32” / 80 cm long circular needles or size to obtain gauge for magic loop method or DPNs if preferred, US 1 / 2.25 mm at least 32” / 80 cm long circular needles for guff.
