Bright Sunshiny Day is a small, fun, funky bag using two granny squares I designed which remind me of rays of sunshine when they shine through cloudy skies.

It’s perfect for a summer outing to the park or the beach – just big enough for your essentials – keys, snacks and a racy romance!

Gauge: As measured on my sample:
The first two rounds = 1½ inches diameter (4cm)

If you tend to crochet loosely, I recommend using a smaller hook.

Finished Size: The sample is 7¼ inches tall and 7 inches wide (18.4 cm X 17.8 cm).

The bag can be made in any weight yarn with an appropriate size hook. Heavier yarn and larger hooks will result in a roomier bag while lighter yarn and smaller hooks will produce a daintier bag. The amount of yarn needed will vary with these modifications.

Terminology: US crochet terms are used throughout the pattern. The equivalent UK terms are referenced.
