“This softly shaped, colourblock top was inspired by bright sunny days. It has a neat collar, and afterthought pockets which give an extra flash of colour. The shoulders are knitted together and the sleeves worked downwards, ending in cuffs in a contrast colour.”

Materials:
1 set 3.25mm/US 3 circular needle, 40 inches long
1 set 3.25mm/US 3 double-pointed needles (to knit pockets)
Shoulders are joined using three-needle bind-off. Sleeves are worked flat by picking up stitches at shoulder and knitting down to cuff. Side seam and sleeve seam are sewn together. Collar is worked from a combination of held live stitches and picked up stitches.
