This squishy wooly cowl is a wintertime treat. It was inspired by gorgeous Mt Hood National Forest surrounding the little town of Brightwood, Oregon.

It is a generous size measuring 60” in diameter and 9” tall and will look great wrapped once around your shoulders or twice to stay cozy.

You will need about 150 yards of the MC and 100 yards of the CC.

This cowl will knit up beautifully with a bulky to super bulky yarn and will look especially magical if one of the yarns is a self striper. The brioche rib stitch will make this cowl reversible showing off each yarn on either side.

I chose to mix a bulky and super bulky yarn together on a size 15 needle. I recommend sizing up for a looser gauge.
