Brigit’s Chained Lace is a crescent shawl using an expanding lace design for the body of the shawl and twisted/cabled stitches along the edges. Two versions of the shawl are provided, one with a picot bind-off and another with a lace bind-off.

Details about the tester’s results are provided, including yarn usage, needle size and finished/blocked measurements. Yarn usage for the body and lace edging are provided separately.

The lace motif will support a lightly variegated/tonal yarn. In addition, the shawl can be knit in two different colors. One color for the body and a different color for the knitted lace edging.
