This pattern includes 3 versions:
Messy Bun/Ponytail Hat
Beanie
Ponytail Hat that converts to a Cowl

It is sized to fit a teen/adult size made with worsted weight yarn, but can be adjusted by changing hook size. One of the pictures shows an adult hat on a child.

I would consider this pattern an Advanced Beginner/Intermediate because of the Special Stitches used. It does include numerous illustrations for help with these.

This is an easy “brim-up” pattern, for those who normally don’t like starting hats from the brim. The brim is created so it is easier to locate the row ends when starting the body of the hat.

The Pattern also contains the follow Special Stitches:
Special Stitches: FPDC, BPDC, TC (Crossed Stitches for the Cat Eye effect)
