This is a warm, simple beanie style hat with coordinating fingerless mitts and/or mittens. An elegant touch of a cabled brim and a solitary cable running up the body of the hat and mittens provides added interest in knitting these otherwise basic projects. For additional fun, the hat, mitts and mittens have the option of stripes or color blocking. These quick projects can be made in a weekend and make stylish, well-appreciated gifts.

The hat fits a size 19-23” head while the mitts/mittens fit a women’s hand that ranges from a size medium to large. The hat required 1 skein of Cascade Spuntaneous or 1 skein of Debbie Bliss Felted Tweed with small amounts of contrasting yarn. The mitts/mittens required similar amounts.
