Brindabella
The shawl is constructed by casting on a few stitches, then increasing stitches at one edge of the piece, creating an asymmetrical triangle.
Each lace section is a variation on the traditional Old Shale (sometimes called Feather and Fan) pattern, providing a perfect opportunity for beginners to see how slight variations can alter the appearance of the lace.
The pattern keeps it simple - there are no increases in the lace sections, as their lateral spread keeps them even with the garter stitch section on either end.
Uses one skein of each color. Great Southern Yarn has fantastic kits!
