Brinkerhoff Bonnet
This bonnet is a really fun knit. You begin with the I-cord ties and front edging. Stitches are then picked up along the brim edge and the bonnet is shaped around to the nape of the neck.
I love this bonnet for our “chilly” Southern California evenings, but this is also a great piece to layer under a bulkier beanie for colder climes.
The close fitting nature of this piece means that baby will hardly even notice it while on, yet the ears will be warm, and the tie at the side means there is nothing uncomfortable under the chin. Our model didn’t once try to take this off her head!
