Brioche Beach
Brioche beach is a composition of squishy brioche stitch and a swell of classic old shale waves mimicking the ocean waves rolling onto the beach. The brioche sections are very basic and ideal for a beginner in brioche knitting while the waves give the shawl just the right amount of drama.
Brioche Beach ist eine Komposition aus kuscheligem Patentmuster und Wogen von klassischem Wellenmuster. Das Patentmuster ist sehr einfach und ideal für einen Anfänger im Stricken von Patentmuster während die Wellen dem Tuch genau die richtige Menge Drama verleihen.
Difficulty
The pattern is suitable for a brioche beginner. It uses only very basic brioche stitches (brk, brp and brkyobrk) which are explained in a photo tutorial.
Yarn
• 4 Skeins Malabrigo Mechita (100% Merino Wool, single-ply; 384 m (420 yds)/100 g (3.5 oz) skein)
• Sample knit in colors Sand Bank (95 g used), Natural (45 g used), Water Green (70 g used) and Teal Feather (80 g used)
Needles and Notions
• 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needles, 100 cm/40” cord length
• 4.5 mm/US 6 circular, DPN or straight needles for the bind-off
• Tapestry needle to sew in yarn ends
