This cowl can be any size you wish, and could also be adjusted to create an infinity scarf or a traditional scarf. There is an optional hood described.

This method creates the cowl in rows, but if the reader prefers, it is entirely possible to create working in the round, with the rows worked horizontally rather than vertically.

As with most of my patterns, the gauge and yardage indicated are arbitrary figures and will vary based on yarn, hook, size, and whether the optional hood is included.
