This headscarf is a descendent of Kathryn Schoendorf’s Calorimetry, using Brioche Stitch, instead of 2x2 rib. Therefore, the headscarf can be worked with NO PURLING. The design also minimizes the holes created by the short row turns, about which some Ravelers have expressed disappointment.
