Brioche Lane Scarf
by KnitQ
A beautiful brioche scarf which uses blocks of garter stitch to create a slightly wavy texture.
I designed this scarf to be extra cozy. It’s wide enough to cover your entire neck, and long enough to wrap around the neck twice. The measurements are 38cm (15 inches) wide by 215cm (85 inches) long. The length can easily be adjusted if you want a longer/shorter scarf.
The gauge is approximately 12 stitches = 10cm (4 inches) in brioche stitch. Brioche stitch is very stretchy, so I recommend knitting a swatch and blocking it to get an accurate gauge.
For the scarf pictured, I used 4 skeins of Katia Soft Gratté in color 70 (Light Ivory).
