Brioche vest is a seamless vest, worked top down. First the back is worked, than the stitches are picked up for the front. Later back and front are joined together, and separated at the end for the edges. Button band and armhole edge are worked at the end. It is designed to fit perfectly to high waist jeans or to a spring dress. Brioche vest has a deep armhole edge that gives the vest a modern look. You can manage with the length but that can increase yarn requirements. Whole Brioche Vest is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together. Block your swatch before starting the project and measure the gauge carefully because the brioche stitch expands after washing.
