A simple pattern in the beautiful brioche stitch, using the self gradient yarn Mandala.
The colors blend together in an intricate fabric that is also reversible.
This pattern is great for anyone wanting to experiment with the brioche technique, but that doesn’t want to make anything complicated or with any sizing.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 22 rows in brioche pattern in the round (after blocking).
Stitches used and abbreviations:
CO = Cast On
K = Knit
P= Purl
Sl 1 yo = Slip one yarn over.
Brk = Brioche knit.
Brp = Brioche purl.
BO - Bind off.
Yarn: Mandala by Lionbrand. Lightweight; DK (#3) (11 wpi) Sample was made with colorway “Wizard”
Yardage: 150, 300, 500 yards
Needle: #8 (5.00 mm) 24 in circular needle or necessary needle to obtain gauge
Sizes: Small, Medium, Large
Measurement:
Small: 20 inches circumference by 7 inches wide.
Medium: 35 inches circumference by 7 inches wide.
Large: 50 inches circumference by 7 inches wide.
