Briochehugeness Showl
Winter is still here! That’s the reason - 50% off!
Briochehugeness Showl (shawl and cowl = showl) is an overwhelmingly elegant design, full of texture, which calls you to wrap yourself in an endless hug. I simply love this pattern - everything about it, really. It’s the perfect garment to protect against the Northern wind.
Briochehugeness Showl is easy and fun, and the results are stunningly eye-catching with an extra warm design. Set off your favorite colorful or variagated yarn on one side with contrasting backround color on the other side. The result is like two different showls because the fabric is completely reversible (Shown inside out).
Briochehugeness Showl is an enjoyable accessory that combines the shape of a triangular shawl with a casual cowl, which is worked in one piece. It is worked back and forth on the bias, from the back neck corner to the 3 step bind off edge, then blocked and seamed. The easy brioche leafy pattern adds interest and makes knitting this a fun experience. Throughout the pattern you repeat just one motif and the only tricky thing is to follow where to work the decreases or increases to grow or reduce your showl.
One error: Section 1 (Chart 3, Part B) Repeating part: Written instruction is correct -the last row in this chart have to be Row 14 (WS) CC. There is mistakenly shown two more rows - what shouldn’t be there. Please ignore them.
