Briornate Sweater
Choose one color of DK weight wool to knit this top-down seamless sweater. The collar begins with twisted ribbing that is folded to form a tidy hem. The circular yoke continues with beautiful brioche ribbing and ornate dip stitches. Each texture is divided by garter stitch breaks, which provide a relaxing rhythm throughout the project and keep you motivated to reach each new section. The length of the sweater is easy to customize while you try on the top-down sweater as you knit. Video links are included throughout the pattern to assist with the various construction techniques and stitch patterns. Select a solid yarn like West Wool Tandem to help make the plush stitches pop and enjoy knitting this ornate assemblage of stitch patterns.
Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)
Finished Measurements
35 (39, 42, 47, 50) (55, 58, 63, 66)″ / 89 (99, 107, 119, 127) (140, 147, 160, 168)cm finished chest circumference. Measurements taken after blocking.
Size 5 size shown with about 6″ / 15cm of positive ease. I recommend selecting a size with at least a few inches larger than your actual chest circumference for a fit with positive ease.
Sleeve and body lengths are customizable.

Yardage
Approximately 1200 (1300, 1400, 1600, 1700) (1800, 1900, 2000, 2100)yds / 1097 (1189, 1280, 1463, 1554) (1646, 1737, 1829, 1920)m
The brioche and dip stitches use a bit more yarn than a regular stockinette stitch sweater, which is why the yardage recommendations may seem a bit larger than a standard stockinette stitch sweater that you are used to making.
You will need 5 (6, 6, 7, 7) (8, 8, 8, 9) skeins of yarn if you are using West Wool Tandem.
