This square blanket is knitted in the round from the centre out in four equal sections and it uses several interesting techniques that are great if you want to stretch your skills and learn new things. The centre of the square is worked in Broderie Anglaise stitch pattern, bordered by a simple eyelet through which ribbon can be laced, and finished with a buttonhole edging. The pattern can be worked either from the chart or the written instructions, whichever you prefer.
