This hat is listed under Tam/Beret because it was the closest category available. However, it is a semi-slouch hat. See pictures for details.
The needles used for this project are 16” circulars, but you could use dpns as well.

You will need one set of US9 dpns for the final rows and one cable needle of your choice.

Any medium (4) weight yarn should work just fine. Just make sure you have a minimum of 210 yds.

This design was made for a Beginners Circular Knitting class and should be considered acceptable for all knitting levels.

The cable is an easy 4st half cable every five rows.
