Broken Glass Scarf is a small scarf worked back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip, in a cable and lace stitch pattern with built-in i-cord edges. Choose one skein of your favorite DK weight yarn to knit this small scarf. The size is easy to customize by knitting more repeats of the Even Section or start decreasing earlier for an extra small scarf.

FINISHED MEASUREMENT
3” (8 cm) wide x 48” (122 cm) long

GAUGE
17 sts x 16 rows = 3” (8 cm), blocked
Gauge is not crucial to this project, BUT it will affect the finished measurement of the scarf and how much yarn needed.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Lonnie Bunny’s Enchanted Yarns
Knight DK (60% Superwash Merino, 20% Yak, 20% Silk; 4ply/231 yards/100 grams)
1 skein Enchanted Encore
Needle: US Size 10 (6mm)
Extras: Cable Needle, Tapestry Needle

The small scarf wraps beautifully around the neck as a dainty ascot or a flirty headband. The instructions are easy to follow with simple stitches.
