Introducing my new favorite hat called, “Broken Stones” and named after the yarn colorway. Why is it my favorite, you might ask? Well, let me count the ways and list them below for you:

  1. It’s knit bottom up so the more you work on it, the shorter the rows become.

  2. The combination of a sport weight yarn held together with a mohair or Suri lace weight yarn creates the absolute dreamiest fabric ever!

  3. The use of smaller needles gives this hat excellent structure and good density. It’s mighty cold here in the mountains of N.H. and I needed a warm hat that always keeps its shape and never gets floppy/messy.

  4. The lace section is an 8-round repeat with 4 of those rounds being knit rounds. Perfect TV knitting.

  5. The folded brim provides extra warmth and stability, AND looks super professional!

  6. This hat is a QUICK knit that comes in 3 sizes, perfect for gift giving.
