Based on a repeating wedge shape, Broken Trails is designed to take advantage of your special skein, no matter the length. For smaller skeins, the shape is a shallow, asymmetrical triangle, but as the number of wedges grows, the shawl tends toward a curving asymmetrical crescent shape. The wedge stays the same throughout the shawl, but because of the short row placement, creates a staggered pattern.

This shawl was designed and knit during my 2023 Special Skein KAL.

This shawl is the third and final of three. The first two were released to kick off my 2023 Special Skein KAL (31 August through 30 September)! I designed and began knitting this new shawl design while everyone else was knitting up their own project. This completes the eBook collection!
