An asymmetrical little shawl featuring a lovely lace pattern and twisted ribbing, especially designed to use only one skein! of your most precious yarn. The shawl is worked sideways from tip to tip, gradually introducing the new sts to the pattern, and it is finished with an optional flower of bobbles in one of the tips.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
71 inches (178 cm) from side to side and 15½ inches (39 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 skein of Sock by Malabrigo Yarn (100% superwash merino; 440 yards 402/100g) or approx. 360 yards of fingering weight yarn. The first sample was made using colorway Eggplant, and it weighs 75 grams. The second sample was made using colorway Aniversario.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) needles.
Other notions: Tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

GAUGE
20 st and 30 rows to 4” (10cm) in Stockinette st; 16 st to 4” (10 cm) in Lace Pattern. Both gauges on US 6 (4 mm) needles after blocking.
