Bronte's Big Sister
I designed Bronte Big Sister because knitters were asking for a bigger size of “Bronte’s Tiny Skirt”.
I felt that a completely different shape was needed for a more grown up look. This skirt is more fitted, although still has elastic in the waistband.
If you use a provisional cast on, you could seam the skirt with Kitchener stitch, making the skirt seamless!
The border is moss stitch. I specialize in one piece knitting with minimal seaming.
The triangles can be knit in several bright contrasting colours or just one.
Don’t panic over the w&t, Cat Bordhi explains wraps and turns beautifully on youtube.
Actual Measurements
Waist: 26ins/66cms, 28ins/71cms, 30ins/76cms, 32ins/81cms (without elastic).
Length: 16ins/41cms, 18ins/46cms, 20ins/51cms, 22ins/56cms, 24ins/61cms, 26ins/66cms, 28ins/71cms
