Brontosaurus
by Tony Goddard
Here’s a stab at modelling Brontosaurus from the Jurassic period, now that there is a good chance that this genus name is ok to use again. This model includes the authentic features of the whip-like tail and the single claw on each front feet. With the tail uncurled, this is about 20 inches long. This dinosaur is a heavier build compared to the Diplodocus also published here.
You will need:
- Body colour – one 100g ball DK yarn
- Claw DK yarn - couple of yards/ metres
- Pink mouth and tongue colour – few yards/metres of DK yarn
- Stuffing material
