Bronwen in her knit capelet
Bronwen is a “bare” bunny, and the first in any of my collections to wear removable clothing. Here she is in her colorful capelet. This one is knit with a small rib trim and features a pom pom trimmed tie in the front. The beautiful fairisle look is easily made with a charted duplicate stitch finish.
Bronwen is a 12 inch bunny. Both her skirt and sweater are removable. The shoes however are crocheted on.
This pattern has 11 pages full of all the info an experienced crocheter/knitter would need to make this little treasure; including technique descriptions, diagrams, and photos. I would rate this as “intermediate” , and requires only minimal sewing and embroidery skills.
Suggested materials: wool and wool blend yarn (worsted weight, at least 1 color ~100 yds, and 4 colors ~25 yds ea.), polyester filling, 12 mm glass or plastic safety eyes, cotton fabric, felt, and a button.
