Brooks is a cozy, textured scarf design that’s perfect for cold winter days. It’s designed by Roni Halloran, and it’s a great second project for newer knitters. It’s designed with super bulky weight yarn, so it will knit up quickly.

This design is a Row House Tutorial Design, which means that it integrates our knitting skills videos to teach you the cable cast on and the seed stitch pattern. It’s great for newer knitters who know how to knit and purl but are still building their knitting skills.

MATERIALS

Any super bulky weight yarn. We used Cedar House Yarns Windfall Super Bulky. Our model is in Toasted Marshmallow. You will need 4 skeins of Windfall Super Bulky, or if you are using a different yarn, you will need 280 m (304 yds) of yarn.
