These socks are designed to cover his feet and keep me amused so I have added the striped ribbing, the slip stitch diamonds, and the striped heels and toes. These are all complicated bits, but you do have the expanses of garter stitch rib to rest in between challenges. I have to incorporate tricky bits to keep myself amused.
