Brownie Mittens viene a completar la colección Brownie, son mitones sin dedos tejidos en circular, de una sola pieza y sin costuras. Están inspirados en el Brownie Sweater, tejidos con los mismos hilados con sus trenzas y calados, resultando en una prenda delicada, liviana y a la vez abrigadora. Es un diseño entretenido y rápido de tejer.

Talla única (talla media de mujer)
Para manos que miden 16-19 cms de circunferencia en la parte más ancha de la mano (sin el pulgar). Se puede adaptar a manos más angostas o más anchas aumentando o bajando el número del palillo.
Muestra: 10 cms = 22 puntos y 30 corridas en Jersey derecho con palillos 4 mm.

Materiales
* Hilado grosor lace 2 hebras tejidas juntas, o hilado grosor sport en su defecto.
Como ejemplo usé Caswool (50 gr/365 m) color Tierra y Kid Silk Mohair (50 g/500 m) color Oxid Rusty de Lanas de la Luzma. Las cantidades a usar son: 102 m de Cashwool y 100 m de Mohair.

• Palillos circulares 4 mm de 23 cms. También pueden usarse palillos de doble punta, o de 80 cms usando magic loop.
• Palillos circulares 3,5 mm de 80 cms o palillos de doble punta.
• 3 Marcadores.
• Aguja lanera.

El diseño utiliza aumentos, disminuciones y trenzas.
El patrón incluye instrucciones escritas, diagramas de puntos y videos de apoyo de los puntos más complejos.

Brownie Mittens come to close up the Brownie Collection. They are fingerless mittens knit in the round, made in one piece and seamless. Inspired by the Brownie Sweater, it was knit using the same design of cables and laces, resulting in a delicate garment, which is both light and warm.
It is an entertaining and fast design to work on.

One size (women’s medium)
For hands with a circumference between 16-19 cm / 6.25-7.5” around the widest part (around the knuckles without the thumb). You can adapt the pattern to smaller or bigger hands by decreasing or increasing the needle size.
Gauge 4” (10 cm) = 22 sts and 30 rounds in stockinette stitch with US 6 (4 mm) needles.
Difficulty level: Intermediate

• Lace weight yarn (2 yarns knit together), or sport weight yarn as a substitute. The yardage to use for the double yarn lace version in Cashwool is 311,7 yds/102 m and in Mohair is 339 yds/100 m; and for the sport yarn version 109,4 yds/285 m. Samples shown in Lanas de la Luzma’s Cashwool (50% cashmere, 40% merino, 10% angora; 399 yds/365 m, 50 gr) Tierra color and Kid Silk’s Mohair (65% kid mohair, 35% silk; 547 yds/500 m, 50 gr) Oxid Rusty color.
• US 6 / 4 mm - 9” (23 cms) circular needles. Double pointed needles or 80 cm needles can also be used to knit the magic loop
• US 4 / 3,5 mm - 32” (80 cms) or double pointed needles
