Bruce the baby bat
Bruce is an adorable baby bat, who can’t wait to help you decorate your home for Halloween!
RECOMMENDED LEVEL AND KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
This pattern is suitable for mid-level crocheters. To crochet Bruce, you’ll need to know how to make a magic ring, a chain, a single crochet, a half double crochet, a double crochet, a slip stitch and an increase and a decrease.
MATERIAL
To make this adorable little bat, you’ll need :
- 1,75 mm, 2,5 mm and 3 mm hooks
- 8 mm black safety eyes (1 pair)
- Polyester fiberfill, more or less (≈) 50g
- 100% cotton fingering weight thread (for 3 mm hook) in the following colors : gray (≈20g), light pink (≈10g)
- 100% cotton size 5 thread (for 1,75 mm hook) in the following colour : white (≈5g)
- yarn needle (wide eye and blunt point)
With these yarns and threads, Bruce is 10 cm tall, from ears to toes and has a wingspan of 11 cm.
