Bruce the Polar Bear
Polar Bear Bruce is part of Project Arctic. In Project Arctic I crochet different animals that live on or around the poles. They may live on the ice, in the air or in the water. What makes those animals special, is that many of them have a very different appearance when they’re young compared to when they are grown up. And that is very nice to crochet!
The polar bear is the largest bear species living in the Arctic circle on the ice and in the sea. Did you know that polar bears spend hours waiting at a seal’s breathing hole for a seal to come up? If they are fast enough they drag the seal up on the ice with a forepaw and kill it.
Size
The polar bear is about 12 cm high, 8 cm wide and 20 cm long.
