Brunch in Brussels Tank
This pattern is written “measure yourself” style- meaning it can be scaled to any size you’d like using your measurements, with any yarn of your choosing. This pattern does NOT contain specific stitch counts, sizes, yardage, or gauges!
With its allover floral eyelet lace, Brunch in Brussels is a breeze to both make and wear! It’s crocheted all in one piece, and is perfect for layering over top of your favourite bralettes on hot summer days. This tank top looks sophisticated paired with flowy skirts or relaxed fit trousers, or charming when dressed down with jeans or overalls.
This pattern works best with DK or Sport Weight yarn. You could use worsted weight too, if you don’t mind your tank top being a little thicker!
Brunch in Brussels is crocheted in one piece, from the top down. No seaming is required for this project!
The front and back necklines are identical and worked up separately before being joined together to create the body, which is worked in joined, turned rounds. A ribbed hem is created along the bottom of the shirt using a Join-As-You-Go technique, before the yarn is reattached to finish the neckline and straps using the same technique.
