I created this pattern during my participation in a swap. Indeed, my swap-sister being a big fan of this character, I had to make her one. This is how I started designing this donkey while keeping the body shape of Rémi the Yeti, another of my patterns, whom I really like.

• Hook: 2.5 mm
• Safety eyes: 12mm
• 1 black button 14mm
• Sewing/tapestry needle, scissors
• Stitch marker, Fiberfill, optional: brush.
• Yarns:
  • Yarn A: 2x50g Catona, Scheepjes Brand, Midnight (527) or Capri Blue (261)
  • Yarn B: 1x25g Catona, Scheepjes Brand, Colonial Rose (397) or Light Orchid (226)
  • Yarn C: 1x10g Catona, Scheepjes Brand, Old lace (130)
  • Yarn D: leftovers Softfun, Scheepjes Brand, Black (2408)
  • Black embroidery floss

Yarns characteristics:

• Softfun, Scheepjes Brand: 60% cotton/40% acrylic – 50g /140m – DK.
• Catona, Scheepjes Brand: 100% cotton – 50g/130m – Fingering.
