“Brush Creek Tee” was inspired by memories of childhood summers spent playing in the creek at the end of the road. The edging used at neck and arm openings continue the themes of water and movement.

The yarn in this sample is Luma from the Fibre Co. It was chosen because the smooth texture allows the subtle pebble texture to stand out from the background. The blend of linen, cotton, silk along with wool for yarn-memory makes it one of my favorite yarns for summer knitting.

Make this tee cropped (as designed) to wear over a high-waisted skirt or add two inches to the body for a classic fit. Ample ease at the full chest makes it comfortable to wear even on hot days. The tee is knit in-the-round from the bottom to the arm openings. Front and back are then knit separately and seamed at the shoulders.

Size Options: For the personalized pattern, all sizes and shapes are supported, as the pattern instructions are customized for your measurements.

For the sized pdf, the finished chest sizes for XS through 5X are: 37.25 (41.25, 45.25, 49.25, 52.75, 56.75, 60.75, 64.75, 70)”/93.5 (103.5, 113.5, 123.5, 131.5, 141.5, 151.5, 161.5, 175)cm full bust circumference.

Suggested Yarn Weight: DK / Size 3

Yarn Amounts: Use the yardage estimation tool on the pattern page to find the suggested quantity of yarn for your size. If you decide to use a different yarn, you may substitute on the project page. The yardage estimate will be recalculated based on your measurements and the yarn used.

For sized pdf the required number of skeins for XS (SM, MD, LG, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) is 6 (7, 7, 7, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12) of the suggested yarn (Luma, by the Fibre Co).

A note about Gauge: instructions are generated with the stitch and row gauges you provide to your project. Please review swatch gauges before creating instructions. If you notice your gauge changes when knitting, simply add new gauge information to your project and the instructions will be regenerated with the new information.

I hope you enjoy making this pattern as much as I did designing it!
