Beginning like a raglan pullover, this over-sized, textured tabard features short sleeves and open sides, making it a great transitional piece. The turtleneck is knit first, then the back is raised with a few short rows. After picking up a few stitches at the underarm on each side, the side edging is knit along with the body. Sides can be left open or held together with snaps or by tacking them together.

Stitch markers
Tape measure
Needles a couple of sizes larger than your gauge needles for binding off
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Blocking supplies
2 large snaps and supplies for attaching (optional)
4 buttons and supplies for attaching (optional)
For a visualization of sizing, use a tape measure to see where the front/back panel measurement hits you below the bust where you plan to join the sides, keeping in mind that there will be a couple of inches of overlap at each side when attached. (There will be
plenty of room in the bust area because of the unattached underarms.)
