A lovely little bootie pattern, with ribbed front and sides, and a buttoned border/flap.

Double soled, these are very comfy for baby to pad around in or to keep their feet cosy when in the buggy or pram.

I did them using Cygnet aran yarn (weight 4), but any similar worsted/aran/10ply/grade 4 yarn would be fine.

You will need:

Less than 1 skein of yarn in the main colour, and just enough for 2 soles in a second colour

5mm (H/8 UK 6) crochet hook

Yarn needle for tidy up ends and sewing on buttons
