A top-down crescent shawl that may be worked either entirely in lace, or with a plain yoke. The three laces may be repeated as you please, so the shawl is highly adaptable in size. Beading is strictly optional! - although charts for beading the border are given.

Suitable for any yarn, from cobweb to fingering weight, that knits with good stitch-definition:

• The all-over-lace shawl in apricot-to-grey gradient used approx. 113g = 677m/740yds of heavy laceweight yarn.
• The plain-yoked shawl in teal ombré gradient used approx. 94g = 561m/614yds of heavy laceweight yarn.
• The shawlette in amber ombré gradient omits the second lace, and used 27.5g = 495m/542yds of handspun fine cobweb-weight yarn

Please note that the pattern is given as charts only, with little written explanation. It should present no difficulties to knitters with experience of working lace and the ability to read their stitches, but is not really suitable for beginners.
