Bryson
Bryson is a triangle shawl knit from the top down beginning with a garter tab. The body is knit in a simple, easily memorized cable pattern which flows into a smaller version of the pattern at the bottom of the shawl.
The shawl was designed with the stripes at the bottom each worked in a different color. Variations on this color scheme, with approximate yardage, are listed at the end of the pattern.
Gauge and yarn weight are not crucial to the pattern, but please keep in mind any changes will affect yardage and finished measurements.
1270 yards (1162 meters) total:
910 yards (839 meters) MC;
96 yards (88 meters) color A;
118 yards (108 meters) color B;
146 yards (134 meters) color C.
Sample shown in The Plucky Knitter Cozy; 90% Merino, 10% Camel; 260 yards (238 meters): Twill (MC), 4 skeins; Build Me Up (A), At the Copa (B), and Elmer T (C), 1 skein each.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
