Materials:

1. 1 Skein of any Worsted Weight Yarn (main color)
2. Small amount maybe ½ of a skein in Worsted Weight Yarn (contrasting color)
3. (I used Red Heart but you could use Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn or any of your prefered worsted.)
4. Size U.S. ( I 5.5mm) Crochet Hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
5. Scissors
6. Yarn needle

Abreviations:
Ch = chain
Sts= stitches
Sl st = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Rep = repeat from * to *
Yo = Yarn Over
Beg = beginning
FO = fasten off yarn
Rnd = round

Special Stitches Used:
Puff Stitch
Front Post (FP)
Back Post (BP)

Check Your Gauge:
Work rounds 1-4 of the pattern to check your gauge
(this is the crown of hat)
Then measure from left to right across the center of the circle.
