B’twixt Aran Hat and Cowl pattern is an exciting new addition to the 4ply cowl pattern.

The hat has a simple construction with no shaping and drawn in with a cord at the crown and can be worn in a slouchie style or pulled over the ears as a beanie making it a good introduction to crocheting in the round as well as working simple crochet rib and shells.

The cowl is just the right width so that it sits comfortably around the neck allowing you to stay snug whether you are out walking or working.

The pattern uses 400m of Aran wool; 200m each for the hat and the cowl.
The recommended hook size is 5mm although some may prefer a 4.5mm.
