A simple blanket made up of only knit and purl stitches. This design is made for my grandson whom I like to call “Bubbie”. He outgrew his original baby blanket and of course needed his Nana to knit another, to which I say, “bring it on”.

One blocked, the blanket measures 62” x 62”. The pattern looks detailed, but I have included easy to check off charts for each row.

Pattern uses approximately 2300 yds of worsted weight #4 yarn (I used Lionbrand Pound of Love - about 2 1/4 skeins), 5 mm circular needles with a long cord to accommodate the stitch count, and a dozen or so stitch markers which I found useful to keep track of the sections.
