Bubble and Squeak Socks
by Heathermaid
This is a plain (vanilla) style sock that can be made with leftover sock yarn (LOSY). The pattern describes several ways to use your leftovers, including a method of knitting in the ends to avoid the dreaded sewing-in of ends at the finish of the project. Alternatively, use a single skein of yarn to produce well-fitting socks.
The pattern is knitted toe up with an Eye of Partridge heel cup using German short-rows and a slipped-stitch heel flap.
Bubble and squeak is a fried patty made from leftover vegetables, with or without meat.
